This past weekend 5 intrepid Nydalen members ventured south to compete at the Danish Spring. The terrain was fast (don’t let the 2.5 m contours fool you), but had some extra deadfall from recent storms. The maps and results can be seen here.
With GPS tracking of some of the fastest runners – including Anders (AN in the image)!
The weekend was a chance to race against some top runners, humbling as always, and give us pause to think about what we need to work on going into the racing season. Øystein had some good results, and it was impressive to see how he can push himself. Hope it is possible to see a video Thomas took of him running in.
We also enjoyed each others company in our very nice accommodation, including cooking/eating wraps as well as realizing it was Sverre’s birthday and celebrating it with cake and ice cream. There was a sauna, but it was used to hang our clothes, as we did not test how many of us we could fit in there…
The weather was not warm (layers were needed), but we saw the sun a few times!
